Job Description

Transmotion is looking for a full time Exercise Equipment Installers – Delivery Drivers for local delivery and assembly orders of fitness equipment to residential and commercial customers in Seattle Area. Work up to 6 days per week depending on the season. Home every night, no overnight travel, all local deliveries. Individuals with delivery and installation experience in the industry are big priority. Positive working attitude and willingness to provide excellent customer service is a must.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities are, but not limited to (other responsibilities may be assigned by manager)

• Operate up to 30ft straight box truck with a lift gate

• Maintain applicable delivery logs including DOT records

• Perform pre and post trip inspections on delivery vehicles

• Load/unload truck

• Secure cargo/product

• Inspect and prepare product for delivery

• Maintain safe product handling at all times

• Move equipment/product into customer’s homes/businesses, including ascending/descending flight(s) of stairs without damage to the product or customer’s property

• Assemble product according to manufacturer’s specifications

• Complete product testing after the installation

• Operate phone/GPS for optimal delivery efficiency

• Provide excellent customer service

Requirements

• Class C Non-CDL driver’s license

• Clean driving record

• Ability to pass background check

• DOT medical card

• Own necessary tools (both manual and cordless, impact drill) to complete each installation

• Mechanically inclined

• Broad knowledge of tools

• Ability to read, understand and follow product instructions

• SmartphoneAbility to lift up to 175lbs

• Requires prolonged sitting and driving

• Must be able to work flexible hours

• Must be able to work in severe weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)Strong work ethic and drive to exceed

• High school diploma or GED
